Everyone makes New Year’s Resolutions.  Lose weight.  Exercise more. Be a better parent. But everyone has very different reasons for these resolutions.  I am no different.

This year, 2020, is a year of reflection for me.  A year of big changes.  The year I decided to put me first.  You see, I’m getting divorced and while that should not be a reason for getting healthy, it IS an opportunity to reflect and make significant changes in my life. Changes that I’ve been trying to make for years but either wasn’t ready or didn’t try.  I had settled into a habit. A habit of putting myself second.  But the Jenny Craig program has offered me so much more than a different way of eating.  It has allowed me to be a busy and involved mom and also make good food choices. An easy choice on this program.

Jenny Craig takes the trouble of meal planning and portion size dilemmas out of your hands and simply decides for you.  A welcome change for the busy mom trying to do it all.  Just the other night I was short on time and scrambling to get dinner ready quickly before we needed to leave the house.  Lucky for me the Jenny Craig Rapid Results program menu told me exactly what to eat. I couldn’t believe how easy it way…and how filling it was.

When I returned home hours later I was delighted that I wasn’t starving and hadn't made any bad food choices while I was out.  In fact, I was “obligated” to enjoy a dessert.  I mean, who really gets to enjoy dessert anymore? Well on the Jenny Craig program – it’s required!
