Salt River Fields launches the 20th season of the Arizona Fall League, Tues., Oct. 9, with home team Salt River Rafters vs. the Mesa Solar Sox, to defend their 2011 AFL championship and a record-breaking attendance season.
Salt River Fields hosts Take Me Out Tuesdays, a family night filled with loads of bargains and fun, and Thirsty Thursdays, a night to kick back with friends. With cool fall weather at a cool price, Salt River Fields invites fans to join the excitement for another record-breaking year.
Take Me Out Tuesdays. An option to the single game ticket price of $7, is the ‘Take Me Out Tuesdays’ package that includes more than $100 in total value for only $11. The value offer includes game ticket, a FREE hot dog & soft drink, along with a treasure trove of gift certificates and complimentary items.
Tuesday nights begin with fans collecting autographs from the Salt River Rafters’ hottest MLB prospects. Post-game, kids run the bases and families enjoy a fireworks display.
Thirsty Thursdays. Wrap up a long workweek and take friends out to the ball game for $7 admission and $1 Miller Lite beers and Pepsi products.

Rising Stars Game. Salt River Fields also will host the Seventh Annual AFL Rising Stars Game on Nov. 3, 5:10 p.m. This all-star showcase will pit the league’s best players against one another during a nationally televised game on MLB Network.
Salt River Rafters. The Salt River Rafters comprise players of the Arizona
Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and Washington Nationals. As last year’s champions of the Arizona Fall League, this year’s Salt River Rafters Manager Matt Williams, Hitting Coach Jon Nunnally and Pitching Coach Mark Grater will be defending their 2011 title. The Rafters’ notable alumni include Roy Halladay, pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies; Garret Anderson, outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers; Jesse Chavez, pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays; Ike Davis, first baseman for the New York Mets and others.
