October 30, 2012

The North Pole Experience is a one-of-a-kind Christmas adventure, and the only place in the US that brings an interactive North Pole to life. Heading into their fourth year of business, NPX has moved Santa’s headquarters’ to Flagstaff, Arizona for the 2012 season.

The adventure begins at the Little America Hotel in Flagstaff which is decked out in millions of lights after the lighting ceremony on November 24th. Families will be guided by their trolley elf and ride down through the magic portal to the workshop. As they pass through the portal, Christmas music rings, lights flash and before they know it, they have reached the North Pole.

Children and parents are then guided off the trolley and in front of Santa's massive workshop doors where they perform a special knock for the elves.

Once inside the workshop they will experience Santa's Toy Hall of Fame, an interactive experience making toys with Santa’s elves, snowman soup and cookies inside Santa's bakery, class time inside Elf University, Santa's top-secret ‘Area 47’ Sleigh Hanger, which features his famous sleigh designed with some of the most advanced technology in the world including runway lights and radar systems, Santa’s main ‘Toy Factory Floor’, complete with soaring ceilings and toy slides, Santa's ‘Toy Development Laboratory’, which is where Santa creates and designs all the new toys for boys and girls around the world, special one-on-one family time with Santa and family photos, and topped off with a trolley ride back to Little America ending the evening with storytelling and cookies and milk with Mrs. Claus.

The NPX season begins on November 16 to December 28, 2012. Single adult workshop tickets cost $55.00, and $49.00 for children, 18 months and up. All tickets for the North Pole Experience and meals can be purchased online at www.NorthPoleExperience.com.

Room reservations at Little America start at $99.00. Children ages 4 and under eat for free for both the NPX dinner and Breakfast with Santa. Families also have the flexibility to book a private Flagstaff cabin with the Arizona Mountain Inn, or other NPX lodging partners.
