The Fall 2012 event will be held Saturday, September, 15 through Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the The Shops at Norterra, 2460 W Happy Valley Road (next to Charming Charlies).
In today’s challenging economic climate, clothing children can take a toll on the average family budget. More moms than ever are looking for creative ways to recoup costs and save on their children’s necessities.
Where are financially stressed and stretched families to turn? Resale. The consignment industry as a whole has been growing at approximately 7% a year for the past two years.
Local entrepreneur, Shellee Roe is hosting an exciting community event on September 15 – September 23 in an effort to “clothe and connect” families in the NW Phoenix area. Rhea Lana’s of NW Phoenix is a seasonal upscale children’s consignment event that helps local mom’s stretch their family budget by providing a place for them to sell their gently-used children’s items!
Consignment events such as Rhea Lana’s are responsive to consumer woes, and offer families an opportunity to purchase spring and summer wardrobes and other children’s items at deeply reduced prices. In turn, these same families can add to their budgets by selling gently-used and like-new items. “We anticipate 100+ consigning families and over 10,000 items at our Phoenix Fall 2012 Event featuring children's, junior and maternity clothing, toys, books, puzzles, baby equipment, electronic gaming systems, sports equipment for kids and furniture pieces.”
