Are you wondering what PEACE LOVE SWAP is all about? It's actually a really smart idea so I'm going to break it down for you here.

PEACE LOVE SWAP keeps gently used baby, kid, and maternity items out of landfills by producing fun, family friendly swap events that allow parents and parents-to-be to get the items they need almost FREE.  Their events allow parents to recycle kids items and clothing and get new and gently used items.

To participate you simply bring the items you no longer need, pay a $5.00 swap fee, and take whatever you need.  That's it!

YES, THAT. IS. IT!!

Participants will drop items off on the morning of an event and will have 1-2 hours to enjoy light snacks, shop with vendors and sponsors, and get to know local area businesses while a team of volunteers organizes the clothing and gear.  Participants will then be let in to "shop" in a well organized fashion (no digging through boxes of clothes).

Macaroni Kid will be sponsoring many of these wonderful events so make sure you stop by and say hi!!!
