PRAISEwear is faith inspired onesies and lil tees with simple designs and sweet bible verses for babies, toddlers and young youth- PRAISing the Lord by wearing His word.
I originally set out to find a home-based consulting-type business when my daughter was about 6 months old (she is now 18 months). Then one Sunday, November 2010, during church service, I listened to the pastor talk about how to make a difference in the lives of others and how to show that Christ is your life. I suddenly came up with the idea in the middle of church service to create tee shirts with bible verses on them! I knew God was giving me a business moment and I just had to see where it could lead!
Never having been in this type of business, I played around with a few ideas, talked to different screen printers, started a Facebook page in January 2011 and blog and slowly introduced hand drawn and personalized baby designs, including some seasonal/holiday stuff. Within just a few short months my business started growing. By word-of-mouth I have been getting busier and busier which has led to new and exciting 2012 goals - including a website! I love when my kids (3 years and 18 months) and customer's kids wear their shirts because it is such a fun way to express our faith. It’s also a great way to teach them bible verses and the value behind every shirt is worth it when you are PRAISing the Lord by wearing His word!
