Nett Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics - Our Journey Through Braces

August 25, 2016

The American Dental Association (ADA) encourages developing good dental habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits helps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. That's why we were on the hunt for a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist & Orthodontist.

We decided to take our daughters to Nett Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontist for orthodontia care for our two girls (now 12 and 9).  From the moment we walked in the door the office was inviting and kid-friendly and the staff very pleasant and accommodating. They are friendly and fun every time we go in.

We initially met with Dr. Bryan Nett (aka Dr. Bryan) for an initial consultation. He and his staff went over every step of the process, showing us before and after pictures, examining their teeth and discussing in detail what we could expect. I was truly impressed with how much time he took with us and how simple his explanations were to understand.

Samantha, our 9 year old, simply needs braces for a few months (for now) to correct a cross-bite.  Our 12 year old, Alexis, needs much more extensive care, requiring upper and lower braces.

They each received a "got nett?" t-shirt and every time they wear it to an appointment, are on-time, with clean teeth, they earn award chips.  The chips can be redeemed for cool prizes like gift cards to family-friendly places.  They get so excited for each visit....just to earn the award chips.  What a great incentive to brush your teeth!
