Run the Bases after Sunday home games!

Paul Goldschmidt, A. J. Pollock and the rest of the D-backs get to do it every home game, and now kids 15 and under get their shot, too! After every Sunday home game at Chase Field, “Run the Bases” for Phoenix Children's Hospital. Head to Gate J at the end of the game and you can have a turn running around the same base path as your favorite D-backs players.

For every child that runs the bases, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will donate $1 to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. As part of this special day, Phoenix Children’s Hospital also designates a Most Valuable Patient to lead the run following each Sunday home game. This MVP receives a personalized jersey and game tickets, as well as pregame, in-game and postgame recognitions.

 


“I encourage everyone to get out there on Sundays,” said D-backs All-Star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt. “Run the bases, have some fun and best of all, raise some money that will go to a great cause.”

And, kids, while you’re at the game, don’t forget to check out the Phoenix Children's Hospital Sandlot in the upper left-field corner of Chase Field, featuring a playground, batting cages and plenty of visits by the D-backs’ official team mascot, D-Baxter!
